- Perfect for users who do not want to be restricted.
- Since passing my licence last year I have been on a hunt for SDR type radio that is compatible with both linux & windows with the most common Ham radio software support. The second thing on my list was something that would not restrict me from using HF/VHF/UHF.
- Nice SDR radio pocket size QRP station
- This set me back with surprise after over 50 years in the hobby to get performance across HF,VHF and UHF in such a small box, One thing the power claimed and actual RF power is off a bit the max i can get on HF CW with 15V is 8.9W. and 4W on 2M and 6.2W on 70cm, also power cut out is at 18V on 2M it cuts out at 15.2. the audio reports have been good and the signal is nice and clean on my spectrum analyzer. adjacent signals test were not brilliant but quite acceptable and give no problems on a dipole. To sum up it a nice SDR radio and makes a lovely compact QRP station or portable man pack. will make a nice radio to take on holiday, camping or caravan. I have given it a try using HRD software and had no set or operating problems. for all you get in the box it as to have a all round 9 out of 10.
