- Had this antenna for about 2 months now, and it is unbelievable. I usually sway to the side of throwing as much metal in the air as possible when it comes to mobile whips, but this antenna has proven me wrong. It's low profile, descrete and performs fanatiscally, build quality is excellent. The antenna itself can be seperated from the magentic base (PL259 <-> SO239). Caught short I used it directly on my HT without the base and got great results. Every ham should own one.
